In the 1950’s a star began to rise in Cuba. Celia Cruz, despite much hardship, became the most adored Latin American singer of her time and blazed a path for others to follow. Her kindness and positive energy were felt by millions and it is impossible to listen to her music without wanting to dance!

During this program, girls will complete hands-on activities to honor Celia’s legacy, including cooking Celia’s favorite recipe, designing fashion, and helping others during this self-guided program. Then come together on our optional zoom to learn some dance moves will help you walk in Celia’s shoes.

This program is open to Girls and Adults.

Each registered attendee will receive a customized patch.  Patches will be mailed at the end of each month.
