Jane Goodall broke the mold of scientific research and became the world’s most respected primatologist even though she had no experience or formal education. Her instinct, persistence, and deep love of nature were all she needed to change the world. Jane’s research changed how we defined human beings and how animals are viewed.
In this program, girls will research a favorite animal just like Jane did and chart their similarities to humans. Through hands-on activities, they will devise a plan to protect the environment so that it is safe for all animals, and complete a project through Jane Goodall’s Roots and Shoots Foundation.
