One of the most influential poets of all time, Maya Angelou has explored many different creative outlets such as singing, dancing, acting, teaching and literature. But her passion has always been poetry. She holds 50 honorary degrees, was nominated for a Tony Award, won three Emmys, the Springham Medal, the National Medal of Arts and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom which is the highest honor a civilian can earn.

During this self-guided program, girls will learn to analyze and write poetry, connect with their inner quiet, and create an inspirational poster to guide them through any hardship that should arise.

Includes Customized Patch to be mailed at the end of each month.
